What You Need to Know:
- It has been announced on the official website that Bananya, a series of super-cute merchandise featuring cats hiding in banana peels, will be getting an anime series in July 2016.
- This is the second cat-themed anime to be announced this week, but this one is a little different. Why, you ask? Because super-popular voice actor Yuki Kaji (Eren Jaeger from Shingeki no Kyojin) will be playing the cats!
- As for the staff behind the project, Kyou Yatate will be in charge of direction and scriptwriting, with Masahiro Takata contributing to the latter. The anime studios will be TMS and Gathering.
Yuki Kaji will be playing the role of Bananya and friends.
