- It was announced in the magazine "Hakusensha Lala" that Natsume's book of Friends Season 5 will be on TV this autumn
- The anime is based on the comic series "Natsume's book of Friends", and is about the protagonist, Takashi Natsume finding a book of friends as his grandmother's memento. As he finds out, the book is full of names of monsters that his grandmother had defeated, and as such, the monsters have lost their names. The story is about Takashi giving back the monsters their names with his pal, Nyanko sensei.
- This season will be created by mostly the same staff as the last season, starring Takahiro Oomori as chief director, Akira Takada on character design, Sadayuki Murai on series composition, etc., and the fans are very excited to watch the new season, showing evidence of how interesting this anime is!
