What You Need to Know:
- A couple of weeks ago, we brought you the latest news about live action movie Death Note 2016's Ryuuzaki.
- Now, we can tell you that Ryuk will be played by Kabuki and film actor Shidou Nakamura, who played the role in the anime and previous movies.
- Producer Takahiro Satou stated that Nakamura's Ryuk is a symbol of the Death Note series, and it wouldn't be the same if he didn't play the shinigami.
- The first visual for the new Ryuk has also been revealed. His new full-CG look was created by using Nakamura's facial features and expressions as a basis. Check it out below!
