- A couple of years ago, it was announced that classic puzzle game Tetris would be getting a live action movie... An announcement which many have either forgotten about or thought was an untimely April Fools joke.
- However, it turns out that the Tetris live action movie is very real. Or at least it will be, with the help of $80 million funding. Apparently filming is set to start in 2017 and the sci-fi thriller - yes, you read that right - will be entirely set in China with a Chinese cast.

I'd laugh if it's all about giant Tetris blocks falling from the sky and burying the earth. Could be good as a sci-fi horror?
