What You Need to Know:
- Some anime will live on forever - especially classics such as Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy, also known as Tetsuwan Atom. On top of getting an international adaptation in fall 2017, this little robot is getting yet another Japanese animation!
- The new anime will be an adaptation of Tetsurou Kasahara's reinterpretation of Tezuka's original work. Titled Atom: The Beginning, this manga is set before Tezuka's timeline and explores the creation of Astro Boy.
- Not much else is known about the anime as of yet, so until more details are revealed, make sure to check out the announcement magazine cover and manga PV below!
