5. Fullmetal Alchemist

Reasons

It was a pretty heavy story considering the original was a shounen manga

The battles were pretty cool, but it also sometimes made you think

It was great how every character thought in different ways, and the power dynamics of the group was interesting

4. Fate Series

Reasons

It brings together stories from lots of different eras, it's fun

The story really makes you think

It's amazing that the fight scenes are cool but the setting is also serious

3. Steins;Gate

Reasons

The world setting is amazing and the contents are complex

It's simply really interesting and moves you

The story is really well-made and really pulls you in

2. Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica

Reasons

You discover something new every time you watch it

The more you watch it the deeper it gets. It's full of tiny details, it's amazing

The characters are cute but the story is thrilling

1. Boku Dake ga Inai Machi (ERASED)

Reasons

It's a really intense story with lots of details

The story development was interesting and I was always left wanting to know what happens next

The mystery story with a little horror was really thrilling the whole way through
