- A couple of weeks ago, we brought you the news that a countdown had started on the official website for Blue Exorcist, aka Ao no Exorcist, with speculation of a second season.
- Now, it has been revealed in a recent magazine spread that the television anime series will in fact be making a comeback, sometime in 2017!
- The only other available details at the moment is the fact that the new season will cover the Impure King arc in Kyoto - we'll be back with more information once the countdown has officially stopped!

Looks like this will follow the same pattern as the Kuroshitsuji anime, making individual episodes based on the manga rather than continuing where the previous season took off
