- Back in 2012, Evangelion fans were treated to the latest installment of the Evangelion Series: Evangelion 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo. Accomplished Japanese singer Hikaru Utada sang the theme song "Sakura Nagashi" of the movie.
- Recently, Hikaru has announced a new album that is healvily anticipated by fans titled [Fantôme]. Slated for a September 28th release, the singer/songwriter has worked with Evangelion staff to bring us a 24 hour limited PV from youtube. Sakura Nagashi will be featured on her new and upcoming album as the final track.
