- Yuri!! On ICE is a currently airing Fall anime about ice skating. It seems to be reaching across the aisle between male and female fans as most anyone who sees it, raves about how good it is.

Current world champion ice skater from Russia, Evgenia Medvedeva is obsessed with the anime and has been tweeting about it much to otaku shock in Japan.
