Humanity has been overrun, wiped out by unusual ‘Beasts.’ That is, except for Willem, a young man who has awoken from a slumber lasting several hundred years. The only things capable of defeating the Beasts on behalf of humanity are holy swords known as Carillon, and the fairy soldiers that wield them. However, although Carillon can be reused after battle, the fairy soldiers who used all of their powers to wield them will die.
