What You Need to Know:
- Kanojo to Kanojo no Neko, or She and Her Cat in English, is an OVA created by anime director Makoto Shinkai (Kotoha no Niwa, 5 centimeters per second) back in 1999. Now, 17 years later, it's being made into a series of anime shorts, called Kanojo to Kanojo no Neko: Everything Flows.
- The story follows the tale of a college girl who lives alone with her cat, as she seraches for a job. It’s been announced that this main character, named only ‘She’, will be voiced by Kana Hanazawa (Anri Sonohara from Durarara!!, Kosaki Onodera from Nisekoi).
- The revamp will be directed by Kazuya Sakamoto (K-On!, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu), with music by Yota Tsukuruoka (K-On!, Kyoukai no Kanata). It will be produced by Lidenfilms, the producer for Arslan Senki and this season’s Sekkou Boys and Schwartzesmarken.
- It may be a short, but with such a good team behind it, it seems we can expect big things from Kanojo no Kanojo no Neko: Everything Flows!
