

What You Need to Know:
- It has been announced that Nodoka Shinomaru's seinen slice-of-life manga Udon no Kuni no Kiniro Kemari will be getting an anime adaptation, set to air sometime in 2016.
- The story surrounds Souta Tawara who, following his father's death, returns to his hometown in Kagawa Prefecture. There, he ends up taking care of Poko, a tanuki (raccoon dog) that has taken the form of a human child.
- The director will be Yoshihide Ibata (Shingeki! Kyojin Chuugakkou), series composition will be by Natsuko Takahashi (Oremonogatari!!), and character design/animation direction will be by Eriko Itou (Sekkou Boys). The series will be produced by Liden Films.
