Ritsuka Tachibana is your average, hard working student. To her surprise, she is called into a meeting by the student council, composed of a group of fine young men. Later on, Ritsuka finds out that her mother has been abducted. Additionally, various crimes and incidents follow this news, resulting in Ritsuka’s knowledge of the world of vampires and devils. Furthermore, the student council members are devils themselves and believe that Ritsuka has information as to the location of the forbidden “Grimoire,” an object coveted by both vampires and devils. Each side is fighting to obtain the Grimoire in order to rule the world. Dance with Devils and Brothers Conflict are similar because the female lead is targeted and desired by a group of males. The story and setting of each anime is vastly different, where Dance with Devils has a musical component in addition to a dark theme, and Brothers Conflict is more ‘Slice-of-Life’ and perhaps relatable. However, both offer a fantastic story development that leaves viewers guessing what will happen next.

Kamigami no Asobi is filled with tons of magic and fighting. It begins with a girl name Yui Kusanagi, who is at a shrine and is suddenly transported into another realm. In this alternate world, various young and handsome gods must learn the significance and value of humanity. As Yui is designated this difficult assignment to aid the gods, she must complete this mission within a year’s time. Otherwise they will all be stranded in that realm forever. In these reverse harems, Yui from Kamigami no Asobi and Ema from Brothers Conflict are propelled into unique and distinct situations that they aren’t accustomed to, but must quickly adjust due to unlikely forces. In both anime, there is a lot of romantic conflict and obstacles between the characters.

Diabolik Lovers is about Yui Komori. At her father’s request, Yui ends up living in a house that is full of vampires. Unaware of why she is sent there in the first place, Yui and the Sakamaki brothers all find out that she is meant to be their sacrificial bride. At the Sakamaki home, Shuu, Reiji, Ayato, Kanato, Laito, and Subaru each fulfill their love lust and blood thirst, while Yui remains a captive in their home. Yui is conflicted as to why her father would allow her to be treated as such. Now, Yui struggles with a new sensation pumping through her veins combined with the sorrow of being subjected to this type of treatment. In comparison, both anime involve a tender, kind hearted girl surrounded by a number of guys, who want her for their own personal gains. Ema Hinata from Brothers Conflict and Yui from Diabolik Lovers are roped into their situations by their fathers, thrusting them into completely different environments. Although the boys in Brothers Conflict seek Ema more romantically and passionately, the boys in Diabolik Lovers have a more malicious and dark way of acquiring Yui.

Amnesia is the story of a girl who loses her memories. Not only does the main character have no recollection of her past, she is plagued by a spirit named Orion, who was the reason why she lost her memories in the first place. Fortunately for our heroine, Orion helps her recover what she’s lost by helping her piece together people - a majority of them being handsome males -, places, and other various triggers. With many of her encounters, she slowly comes to find out who she is. The heroine from Amnesia and Ema Hinata from Brothers Conflict share similar timid personalities. They are both reverse harem based, where the female lead is surrounded by a swarm of males. Additionally, the heroine and Ema develop deep and personal relationships with each male they experience, providing a supportive quality and unique experience between each pair and for the main female protagonist.

Based on an otome game, Hanayaka Nari, Waga Ichizoku: Kinetograph is about Haru Asagi, who works as a maid for the Miyanomori household, one of the most powerful families of the early 1900s. Father Miyanomori decides it is time to retire as head of the family and wants to choose one of his six sons to take his place. Father Miyanomori does not tell his sons how he will go about this process, but suggests to his sons to prepare themselves and to stay on his good side. In this OVA, Hanayaka Nari, Waga Ichizoku: Kinetograph, highlights the former conflict in addition to the interactions between the Miyanomori brothers and Haru. Hanayaka Nari, Waga Ichizoku: Kinetograph and Brothers Conflict include one female lead with varied relations between a number of brothers. These anime, targeted towards a female audience, seek to make them wonder whom the female protagonist will choose in the end. Furthermore, Hanayaka Nari, Waga Ichizoku: Kinetograph and Brothers Conflict have comedy, romance, and dramatic themes.

Uta no Prince Sama is the story of various young talents enrolled at Saotome Academy, in hopes of reaching stardom through music. Surrounded by musical brilliance and artistry, the protagonist, Haruka Nanami attempts to make her way to the top of the industry, gaining six companions along the way. The progress through each episode demonstrates the journey of students training to become future idols. In comparing Uta no Prince-sama♪ Maji Love 1000% with Brothers Conflict, both have a female main character surrounded by a group of young men fighting for their attention. UtaPri and Brothers Conflict have vibrant characters, who all cast various personalities. Haruka Nanami from UtaPri and Ema Hinata from Brothers Conflict are both timid and introverted young ladies, but nonetheless talented and diligent, whether it is for studies or music composition. Haruka and Ema are also likeable girls with handsome men in their midst.

Let's start this ships parade with a subtle yet loved pairing, only for true Haikyuu!! lovers. Here's the classical ship “senpai” x “kouhai”, as Oikawa was Kageyama's senpai during junior high school. This ship is loved right because OiKage has a solid past to be built upon. While attending junior high together, Kageyama was a little boy who admired his senpai Oikawa, to the point that he wanted to become like him one day. Oikawa, on the other hand, treated Kageyama poorly out of jealousy towards Kageyama's obvious talent. As the two grew up, Kageyama went from feeling admiration towards Oikawa, to considering him a rival. And here's where the savage ship begins! Oikawa calls Kageyama “Tobio-chan”, jokingly. He holds a grudge towards Kageyama, due to the fact that he was considered a genius, so Oikawa grew an inferiority complex toward him. Basically, Kageyama brings out the most childish aspects in Oikawa, while Oikawa, even considered as a rival, is still the only person Kageyama really envies and want to surpass. From fandom's point of view, they're just the perfect match. They keep on arguing, but what's interesting is how Kageyama is the only person who is able to break Oikawa's everlasting smile, and stir his anger up. They have a past together, and this leaves room to imagination. There's another part of the fandom, instead, that considers their way of interacting as if they were two boys unable to resolve their feelings towards each other, and so as clumsy as they are, instead of saying “I love you”, they prefer to fight. Whatever way you feel like shipping them, however, they'd make a perfect couple, with the maximum amount of rivalry. They wouldn't make a warm and loving pair, that is for sure, but they'd sure keep up the sex appeal!

Here's a pairing that's a joy for the heart and the eyes! Bokuto is a very funny character who gained popularity thanks to his amazing personality; he is friendly, energetic, childish and moody. Basically, Bokuto is like a time-bomb ticking. The entire team is in trouble whenever his mood changes, and almost no one seems to be able to deal with him. There's only one person who proved to be a master at dealing with this force of nature called Bokuto, and that is Keiji Akaashi. Akaashi is the polar opposite to Bokuto; he is calm, composed, and mature. Bokuto and Akaashi are an amazing spiker/setter duo, and they are good friends as well. In spite being the younger among his teammates, Akaashi is the one who knows Bokuto better than anyone else, and the only one who can put up with Bokuto's tantrums during a match. Where Bokuto is a bit egocentric and full of self-esteem, Akaashi is very humble and able to see his own limits. It's funny to see how, during practices or a match, Bokuto asks Akaashi for praising just to see his requests declined. Or when Bokuto manages to do an amazing smash and asks Akaashi if he saw and if it wasn't an amazing one, just to receive a poker face from him. Bokuto and Akaashi are a perfect couple not only because they have total opposite personalities, but even because they are visually perfect. They are physically spetacular, too. Bokuto has grey hair with spikes, and golden round eyes, while Akaashi has short black hair with grey eyes. This pairing gained popularity among the fans right because of the funny moments these two boys share, and because their relationship seems to communicate how, in spite Akaashi's emotionless attitude, they care about each other. This is one of the most heart-warming pairing in the Haikyuu!! universe, and we can clearly see the reason why!

Here's the tease pairing that captivated the greater part of the fandom! Kuroo is the hot captain of the Nekoma High team, and Tsukishima is the “tsundere” middle blocker of the Karasuno High. What made these two characters so loved and shipped is easily said; there's a teaser, and one who doesn't want to get teased. Let's explain it better. Kuroo's personality is intriguing, as he is laid-back and considered to be a great instigator. On the other side, there's Tsukishima who is blunt, and straightforward to the point that he can become poisonous sometimes. Tsukishima, due to something that happened in his past, acted as if he didn't really care about volleyball, and so he assumed a careless attitude. Well, the one who managed to make that facade come down crushing was Kuroo! In fact, Kuroo is the only one who is able to rile Tsukishima up and make him feel embarrassed or even frustrated. This is incredible, as Tsukishima is the one who has that same role – managing to anger Hinata with a single word. When Tsukishima realized that he actually – probably – liked volley, he went as far as to ask for advice from Coach Ukai, who sent him to Kuroo. So Tsukishima had to eat his pride and ask Kuroo, who is a great middleblocker, for help. Pointless to mention, Kuroo accepted and he and Bokuto practiced together with him throughout the summer. That's how the fandom woke up and started to ship these two characters! Kuroo is so hot it hurts, with his black hair and his bad boy attitude, while Tsukishima has this “megane” “tsundere” vibes that it's impossible to hate him, in spite everything. While Kuroo pushes, and Tsukishima gets angry, together they just arouse the entire fandom's imagination, that sees this couple as one of the hottest!

Let's talk about a popular ship; the drama couple AsaNoya! Fandom was able to fantasize about Azumane and Nishinoya right from the start. Azumane is the ace of the Karasuno High. When the Karasuno was defeated by the Date Tech High, Azumane – who was feeling at fault – left the team right before the first years came. Nishinoya, who knows better than anyone else how much Azumane loves playing volley, refused to remain officially in the team, unless Azumane came back. When Azumane understood how much he loved volley, and joined the team once again, Nishinoya was the happiest person in the world, and followed by getting back in the team as well. What's so intriguing about this couple is that Azumane is tall and looks way more mature than his actual age; yet his appearence doesn't match with his character. In fact, he is weak-willed, quiet, gentle and lacks self-esteem as an ace. On the other side there's Nishinoya, who is short, and looks like a child; yet his appearance doesn't match with his boisterous personality. Nishinoya is a temperamental character who speaks his mind and is full of energy. Azumane's polar opposite. As a couple, they'd sure complete each other. It's clear how in the show basically Nishinoya becomes Azumane's strength. When Azumane seems on the verge of giving up, Nishinoya is there for him and cheers him up with all his might, reminding him how much he loves playing volleyball. The contrast is sharp; Azumane is like a gentle giant, while Nishinoya is a little tornado. Another little gem regarding these two is about their names; while Asahi means “morning sun”, Yuu means “evening”. Then again while Azumane means “east peak”, Nishinoya means “west valley”. Isn't it obvious that they were meant to be foils?

The first position had to be the golden couple formed by Kageyama and Hinata. This couple is the most popular in the Haikyuu!! universe, and we really can understand why. If it's true that opposites attract, it's no wonder how fandom fell in love with the way these two characters interact. We have Kageyama who showed Hinata his bad attitude from their first meeting, during a tournament in junior high. He is sullen, terribly short-tempered and a perfectionist who didn't even care about his teammates. Consequently, he became a person full of regret and, fearing to be abandoned once again by his own team, he tried his best to improve his personality. Aside from his bad character, Kageyama is a real talent as a setter. Hinata, in contrast with Kageyama, is exuberant, cheerful, and full of energy. He is often seen joking around with Nishinoya and Tanaka, who seem to have the same attitude as Hinata. Hinata is short and visually opposite to Kageyama, with his orange hair and brown eyes. He is madly in love with volley, and it's made clear how he needs Kageyama to improve his skills as a volleyball player. Hinata manages to turn Kageyama's world upside down; he managed to befriend the unsocializing Kageyama, who gradually turns into a person his teammates can rely on. Hinata, thanks to Kageyama's help, improves his skills and, step by step, discovers his strong point as a volleyball player. This couple is bound to be loved because these two fight, are rivals, and keep on bickering over trivial things. Yet, when push comes to shove, Kageyama shows how much he treasures his friend Hinata, and the same goes for Hinata. His enthusiasm is able to warm hearts up, even Kageyama's. And that's all it took for KageHina to become the most shipped couple among fans!

Kei Kusanagi is a high school boy living with his aunt and uncle in Onegai☆Teacher. One otherwise ordinary day, he encounters a female alien named Mizuho Kazami. Little does he know just how significant to his life she will quickly become! It turns out that the alien is actually the new teacher at his school. Kei knows her secret identity though, and so she is forced to marry him in order to keep the truth about what she is a secret! But the story doesn't end there because it's not easy to be married, let alone married to an alien, and Onegai☆Teacher is a story of learning how to be in a relationship together. Relationships are never easy, and Onegai☆Teacher shows that perfectly - with the added element of one party being an alien, of course. Like Asobi no Iku Yo!, the relationship between human and alien is strained at times due to very obvious cultural and behavioural differences on top of the factors that normally put stress on a relationship. Eris and Kio are able to work through their differences and still find their romance, and Kei and Mizuho do the same thing. Their relationship dynamic is a bit different with Mizuho being a teacher and Kei a student, but the struggles of being a human and an alien having a relationship is the same. If you liked Asobi no Iku Yo!, but also like teacher/student relationships, then Onegai☆Teacher will be perfect for you!

Rito Yuuki has always been too shy to confess his feelings to the girl he has a crush on, but that’s the least of his worries in To LOVE-Ru. One evening when he is enjoying his bath, suddenly a completely naked girl falls into his lap! It turns out she is Lala, an alien princess on the run of a politically motivated wedding. To avoid that wedding, she is happy to marry the overwhelmed Rito instead. But all Rito wants to do is still confess his love for his crush! Will he ever be able to do it, or will he be too tangled up with Lala (and the countless other alien girls that start to show up…) to have the opportunity? To LOVE-Ru tells the story of a totally unexpected, but not unwanted, relationship between human and alien. Lala quite literally falls into Rito's life whether he wants it for not - but he doesn't exactly complain about her sexual advances and marriage proposal, either. Eris forces her way into Kio's life as well in Asobi no Iku Yo!, but he also doesn't put up much of a struggle. Besides how their relationship begins, there is another similarity between To LOVE-Ru and Asobi no Iku Yo! - both have alien girls with intense baggage they are bringing to the table. Eris is trying to be captured by a lot of groups of people, and Kio has to do all he can to keep her safe. Lala has come to Earth in the first place to escape a political marriage and bad situation on her home planet, but her problems have followed her as well and pulled Rito into them. These unique issues that Rito and Kio have to deal with due to their alien girlfriends are the main thing that makes To LOVE-Ru like Asobi no Iku Yo!.

DearS begins with an alien ship crash landing in Japan. With no one able to fix the ship to return the aliens to their home world, the government of Japan decides to adopt them as Japanese citizens, dubbing their kind "DearS." However, clearly the aliens know nothing about Japanese culture! So to help them learn, they are put into a sort of "home stay" programme where they live with normal citizens to learn the language and how to survive in Japan. When Takeya Ikuhara rescues a female one, he ends up stuck with her whether he wanted to be or not! Dubbed Ren, the alien girl becomes attached to Takeya fast, even calling him her master! What will Takeya do with her now? Much like Asobi no Iku Yo!, the alien girl that is the focus of DearS doesn't know a lot about human culture. Lucky for her, she has Takeya to teach her (however reluctantly at first). Eris originally came to earth to learn about the people living there, and Kio ends up being her unexpected teacher as well. Ren may not have forced herself into Takeyu's life on quite the level that Eris did to Kio, but Takeyu certainly didn't intend to host her when he saved her - and yet that's exactly what he ends up doing, much like Kio. Both relationships start with the girls being very reliant on the boys to understand the culture, and the boys being in a sudden care-giving role they never expected - and both result in romance! That transition in what their relationship was and what it becomes is what makes DearS a lot like Asobi no Iku Yo!.

Despite being an orphan, Yuuto Amakawa's life isn't so difficult - his biggest challenge in life is his intense cat allergy. Everything changes the day he turns sixteen in Omamori Himari when suddenly he starts being attacked by supernatural monsters called Ayakashi who want to punish him for his ancestors' sins! Lucky for Yuuto, he is saved by Himari, a mysterious catgirl. Up to age sixteen, he had been protected from the monsters by a charm, but now he had to learn to defend himself alongside Himari. Things just keep getting more complicated as he continues to be attacked, not to mention how many girls keep showing up wanting something or other from Yuuto... The most obvious similarity between Omamori Himari and Asobi no Iku Yo! is the main heroine is a catgirl! Himari is not from another planet (probably) like Eris is, but they both have the distinctive cat ears that set them apart from other human characters. Both Himari and Eris stay with the male lead character most of the time as well, which develops into a romance. In Asobi no Iku Yo!, Kio is helping and protecting Eris, whereas in Omamori Himari the roles are reversed. Both are stories of partnership, though, with a male human and female catgirl helping one another overcome various obstacles. If you like an important catgirl in the story and a partnership where she has to work with a human, check out Omamori Himari!

What starts out as a normal day for first year high schooler Kaito Kirishima in Ano Natsu de Matteru will actually change his life - he just won't know it for a while. An amateur videographer, Kaito was out testing a new camera when he saw a mysterious blue light, and then blacked out without any memories other than waking up in his bed. Coincidentally, a new student named Ichika Takatsuki has now shown up at his school, and Kaito develops a crush on her. Little does he know just how much of a connection the two already have! Ichika isn't just an ordinary girl who behaves a bit strangely; she's actually an alien, and when her ship crash-landed on Earth she accidentally fatally injured Kaito! Lucky for them both, she has the ability to replace his cells with her own that have healing nanomachines in them (of course by sharing a kiss) and saved him. So what does the future have in store for them now? Like Asobi no Iku Yo!, Ano Natsu de Matteru is a love story between a high school boy, and an alien girl. While Ichika's appearance is not so obviously different like Eris', her actions and behaviour clearly mark her as different. As much as Ichika may try to behave as a human and check her mistakes, her oddities still do not go unnoticed. When she finally shares the truth about who she is with Kaito though, he doesn't mind at all that she is an alien and loves her anyway. Eris and Kio's relationship is also not affected by the reality that they are not from the same planet! Romance prevails all the same. So if you like the alien love story between high school aged characters who don't mind that they are not the same species that happens in Asobi no Iku Yo!, check out Ano Natsu de Matteru next!

Nyan Koi! is the ecchi of cat lovers' dreams. It's got fan-service, it's got a story, and of course, it's got cats! When high schooler Junpei Kousaka finds himself cursed by a cat deity and able to speak to cats, he has to do 100 good deeds for cats to break the curse and stop him from becoming a cat himself. It doesn't sound too hard - except that Junpei is deathly allergic to cats! And on top of that, his crush Kaede loves cats but is terrible at interacting with them. If Junpei is ever going to lift the curse, he's going to have to follow the advice of his family pet cat Nyamusas and his cat friends - if Junpei turns into a cat, he'll certainly die from his allergies! Nyan Koi! may not have catgirls like Asobi ni Iku Yo!, but it does have cats, and girls. Lots of girls actually. Junpei may have a big crush on Kaede specifically, but his adventures to lift his curse bring him into contact with many other beautiful girls as well! And of course, Nyamusas and his many cat friends are always around Junpei whether he likes it or not, and they are always finding random cats to try to do 100 good deeds for. As mentioned earlier, if you like big-breasted girls and fanservice, and also like cats, Nyan Koi! is a great follow-up to Asobi ni Iku Yo!. It follows more of the cat theme than others on our list if the cats are your favourite part. Not to mention Nyan Koi! is also hilarious, too!

Main protagonist Tokine Amino is employed at TEN2, an advertising agency where she works as a secretary. Much of her daily routine is the same, making sure to accept phone calls, report information to the head of staff, and clean the conference room after use. One day as she was cleaning however, Tokine is then surrounded by a large beam of light and realizes that she cannot leave. It is then revealed to her that in order to leave this room she must solve a puzzle created by Hacchin, a creature from the world of Quizn who finds pleasure in those who possess strong intellect, and can solve puzzles or uncover mysteries without much effort. The story sounds very interesting to say the least and we’re quite excited for it because it dabbles into the minds of both Tokine and the viewer, as challenging puzzles are now about to be thrown at you, and test your wits. If you’ve enjoyed much of the Professor Layton series, with its very thought provoking clues that leave you scratching your head, then this is the female version of that. With the help of her other colleagues and Hacchin to warm us up with her super cuteness, Nazonokine is sure to wow audiences with its stylish approach to a genre that’s typically very dark and unforgiving.

A young and devoted university professor is regarded to be a genius by many, and can learn any language he desires very quickly. He is then asked by one of his peers to decipher a code known as the Luger Code, which is used primarily in wireless communication. The Luger Code was designed by werewolves but if come into contact with mankind, it could prove troublesome. Unfortunately this was one code that the professor couldn’t crack, and so now he sets out on a tumultuous journey in order to seek out the truth behind the code, and to capture a living werewolf to assist him in this mystery. Luger Code 1951 is going to be an action packed thrill ride as we have main lead Alex, whose passion to achieve greatness has come to a halt, as there’s one challenge he just can’t seem to conquer on his own. Studio Deen, the company behind other great anime such as the famed Fate/Stay Night series, as well as Kore ha Zombie Desu Ka? will be running the show this time around, so we’ll be sure to see some fantastic displays on screen once this award winning series airs October 22nd here in Japan.

J.C. Staff, the same world renowned studio that brought you hits like Kaichou wa Maid Sama!, Shokugeki no Soma, and the hilarious Prison School, now bring us another much anticipated hit for the fall lineup. Lostorage Incited WIXOSS is a psychological thriller that places its focus on card games and magical creatures. The popular franchise launched by toy maker Takara Tomy in April 2014 has now been brought to life, as the curtains rise on a new selector battle and will now determine the fates of Suzuko and Chinatsu. WIXOSS (pronounced “wi-cross”) is a very popular card based game that is played by a lot of fans in Japan. Various other anime series were created after its release such as Selector Infected WIXOSS, which was then preceded by Selector Spread WIXOSS. Not much about the story was explained which leaves us with a salivating mouth, since we’re really anticipating just what Suzuko and Chinatsu will incur on their wild journey in the chaotic world of WIXOSS. Just who will win in this epic card game, and what will happen to the loser? Only time will tell, so look forward to October 8th when all the cards are laid out and the fates of both characters will be revealed!

A team of young detectives, known as the Boys Detective Team, are now in hot water as their previous actions have led to various incidents taking place within the city. One day one of the members Kensuke, encounters a mysterious young character named Yoshio. Yoshio has a very strange ability that prevents him from dying due to an unidentified mist, but can no longer bear the struggles and wishes to take his own life. Kensuke, intrigued by this young boy, takes him under his wing and insists that he join the detective squad. Together along with the rest of the team, these two encounter various chilling mysteries pertaining to the notorious criminal nicknamed “Fiend with Twenty Faces”, and the backstory behind famed detective Kogorou Akechi. Fall is looking to be quite promising, and Trickster is one of those shows to really bookmark on your anime calendar. With so much going on in the city and a famed detective's life shrouded in mystery, these young boys set out to discover more clues behind just what’s transpiring, and just why Yoshio has been cursed with the undying body. With so much on the line and time most surely against them at every corner, these boys must use their tactful thinking to solve cases, and use their unique skills to ensure that the answers they’re looking for can be found immediately before it’s too late.

We follow nine incredible individuals in this epic story which revolves around paranormal science. Yuuta Gamon is the main lead who runs an occult summary blog named the Choujo Kagaku Kirikiri Basara, which links all these nine characters together. Small events that transpire between these nine characters start to grow larger, unfathomable events that slowly begin to alter just what many claim to be common sense in the world they live in. The PV down below should be enough to entice you and tune into this crazy sci-fi adventure. There’s just so much to look forward to in this series because we haven’t had a chance to watch a really thorough occult related anime for quite some time, and so there’s much to be expected from this. With a really cool art direction and A-1 Pictures to back up the production, there’s a lot of certainty that this will be one of the heavy hitters going into the fall lineup. Will these nine individuals seek out and find what they’re looking for? Or will they run into some deadly adversaries that will make their lives even more challenging? Only one way to find out, and that’s to tune in October 8th when it airs.

For those who tuned into the first season of Bungou Stray Dogs will most definitely be excited to hear about this announcement. The story looks at Atsushi’s life as he struggles to cope with getting kicked out of his orphanage. As he walks by a river trying not to die of starvation, he encounters a man who is attempting to take his own life. Atsushi asks the man who he is, and is known as Osamu Daizai, who is part of a special detective agency along with his colleague Kunikida. The two have supernatural abilities that far exceed the human capacity, and so are given cases that are deemed too dangerous by authorities. Both Osamu and Kunikida are tracking down a certain tiger that has disappeared recently, and both are startled to find out that Atsushi have ties to it. Now Atsushi’s future and life will be watched very carefully by Osamu and the rest of the authorities. This is sure to be a treat for many, as the first season started off strong and really closed with a strong finale. Polygon Pictures is back with another explosive and emotional season of Ajin, where Kei and Kaito must now come face to face with the truth, and uncover the mysteries behind just what the Ajin is. The first season began with a grim history of what the Ajin did in Africa and the mess it left behind, as it teared through everything in its path. Kei’s life was taken from him and somehow was revived by an Ajin, who are feared by the entire nation because it’s seen as a threat to society. Kei now finds himself on the run to ensure his survival, with the help of his close friend Kaito who tries his best to make sure his friend doesn’t get killed. If you haven’t had a chance to see how it all began for Kei, then definitely go back and watch the first season to get a better feel for just what will happen. Perhaps if you’ve already watched the full movie you may already know everything, but for those who haven’t, be sure to lock yourself into your seats because it’s going to be a crazy ride. You’re going to see some scenes that will have you questioning humanity, societal issues pertaining to discrimination, and plenty more in this psychological horror thrill ride.
