Airing this season is Diabolik Lovers More,Blood which continues the story of Komori Yui. She has been living with the Sakamaki family. Lately, she has been having dreams of someone called "Eve". One day, they get into a fiery car accident and come cross the Mukami tribe. Unfortunately for Yui, her life is soon going to take on a new direction with the Mukami tribe. Will her questions be answered? Or perhaps she'll be fodder of these new vampiric families. Much like Dance with Devils, Diabolik Lovers More,Blood delves into the supernatural with a cast of blood sucking bishounen, except the Sakamaki clan and the Mukami clan have no interest in protecting poor Yui. Yui is like Ritsuka, she's just a normal high school girl whose wellbeing is at the mercy of supernatural beings. They both are reverse-harems as well!

Ayangai Academy is a school that focuses on music, but it has a musical department that is difficult to enter. You have to be accepted into the Star Frame Class, which is taught by the top students of the musical department, also called the Kaou-kai. This is a story that follows Hoshitani Yuuta, Nayuki Tooru, Tsukigami Kaito, Tengenji Kakeru, and Kuga Shuu who have been selected by the Kaou-kai's Ootori Itsuki. In order to achieve their dream, they have to work together, but can they get along enough to do that? Dance with Devils has a musical aspect of it when the characters do break off into song and dance, so a great anime this season with the same features would be High School Star Musical. High School Star Musical has singing, dancing, and bishounen, but it also takes a look at the bond between these five select students as they learn to work together to become the best. Think of it as an anime similar to Dance with Devils without any girls to take up the screen time of your favorite guys.

Kusanagi Yui is an ordinary high school girl, but she has been selected by Zeus to attend a school for gods. At this school, Yui has to teach the other young gods about what it means to be human, but can she do that when they have no interest in humans? Kamigami no Asobi takes a look at a different side of the supernatural with gods instead of demons. The protagonist is another important human amongst a harem of very extraordinary bishounen. Kamigami no Asobi is also set in a school setting, much like Dance with Devils. You'll enjoy watching as you learn that although these gods have no care for humans, they are actually quite human inside.

Yukimura Chizuru has traveled to Kyoto to find her father who she hasn't heard from since he left on a job. Chizuru ends up witnesses a fight between the Shinsengumi and an oni. The Shinsengumi take Chizuru back to their base to figure out what to do with her until they find out that she is the daughter of the doctor that they have been searching for. Chizuru finds herself under the protection of the Shinsengumi as she attempts to find out more information about her father, but along the way Chizuru will come across many mysteries, secrets, and perhaps love in her journey. Although both stories are set in different eras, the protagonists find themselves in very similar situations. Ritsuka was trying to find her mom while Chizuru is searching for her dad. They both find themselves being protected by a harem of bishounen with secrets that they both would never have imagined. If you are seeking a story of political struggle, drama, and the honor of the samurai, then you will enjoy watching the Shinsengumi in Hakuoki.

Fairy tales are not all princes and pixie dust. Tamaki finds herself attacked by fabled creatures, but luckily, she is rescued by an amazing boy who is part demon. Tamaki soon learns that she has inherited the destiny as a Tamayori princess, but before she can take that all in, she has to attend a new high school as well. Can she handle the destiny given to her or will she shy away from fate? Much like Ritsuka, Tamaki has found herself in a situation that she never even dreamed of that defies logic. Well, her human logic, anyway. Both protagonists are just ordinary girls with extraordinary fates who are under the protection of a group of special guys. Although Tamaki may not be the strongest, she's no pushover either. If you want a supernatural anime with a stronger protagonist than some of the more recent reverse harems, you may want to see what Tamaki has in store for you.

Haruka has dreamed of becoming a composter so that she can write for her favorite idol so she entered Saotome Academy, a school dedicated to the performing arts, so she can achieve her dream. Haruka finds herself surrounded by many talented people and the staff are all idols! At this school, Haruka must find a partner to work with, but who will she choose? Although Ritsuka has sung in Dance with Devils, Haruka in Uta no Prince-sama prefers to be in the back and compose the music that we see featured in Uta no Prince-sama. The male characters provide the musical scenes that make this anime similar to Dance with Devils. The males in this reverse harem have their own issues and dreams, but watch as they overcome their difficulties to achieve their dreams.

Margery’s hair is a darker golden blonde that extends down to her calves and is pulled up into a high ponytail. She uses the popular way to make any high pony instantly classy by wrapping some of her hair around to hide the actual hair band while letting a couple hairs go purposely astray. And what vivacious blonde would be complete without the side locks curling around her bosom? Really, Margery Daw is a hot, classy drunk and definitely deserves a place on this list! Margery may only be a supporting character but that doesn’t stop us from loving every inch of her! She’s a drunken Flame Haze who originally appears as a bit of a foe to Shana in Shakugan no Shana. In the series, Shana is a Flame Haze who hunts denizens with Alastor, the “Flame of Heaven” whereas Margery has Marchosias and turns into a werewolf when fighting. They start off a little rocky but since they both have the same enemies, they end up working together at times. Yuji Sakai, a high school student, gets thrown into the mix and aids Shana in battles but a couple of his classmates also end up in the mess. They are Eita and Keisaku, and they are saved by Margery who they end up following and helping her whenever they can. Margery’s main spell is "Improvisational Poem of Slaughter”, which is already impressive enough but she’s actually pretty powerful and an overall fox. The series goes in deep into her backstory of revenge and makes you love her all the more but the real kicker is when her romance with Keisaku becomes canon., satisfying fans worldwide for support character romances.

Mami’s hair is hands down one of the easiest styles to recognize as her character. She’s a much, much lighter golden blonde with more of that anime yellow but pulls it off so elegantly. She has the normal, slightly parted bangs with curly, low pigtails. The reason they’re so original, however, is because it’s just one large spiral curl. Although there are a couple other character designs like this, none are the blonde, low design she has with the ‘boing!’ you can here in the spring of her hair! She takes the curly pig tail and redefines what it is, all while holding the grace and poise she is known for. Mami is another curvaceous character with a memorable and lovely color scheme. She’s elegant and swift when she’s slaughtering her enemies so it makes you wonder what made her lose her head, har har. In Madoka Magica, she is a veteran magical girl and a third year student, so she’s looked up to as a senpai. She lets Madoka in on the magical girl world and what it’s like. Madoka is hesitant and doesn’t know if she’d want to become a magical girl or if she’d even have a wish worthy to sign her life away for. Mami, on the other hand, had no choice. She was in a car accident where her parents died and she was only able to escape with her life because she signed a contract with Kyubey. Because she spent the majority of her time fighting alone, she feels a deep sense of loneliness until she meets Madoka and Sayaka. Within the anime, it is told that there are multiple time lines which all five friends fought happily together for awhile before it all kept going to the same ending. Mami never loses her finesse in all of it.

Kaori takes the cake for most realistic, fluid golden blonde locks. Her hair isn’t insanely curly nor is it straight, but is usually seen with her hair down with a simple clip or her hair in a high ponytail. Her hair really captures the essence of her character because it’s free and unruly. It paints the picture of a bright sunrise to brighten up Kousuke’s dark world and just like her violin playing, brings a sense of wonder to our senses. Kaori gives us all something to look up to with her outlook on life and general positive attitude, despite her situation. It’s a wonder if she’s so incredibly gorgeous because of the vivid animation, killer violin music, or just her character but it’s definitely normal to be completely entranced by this smiling blondie. Kaori revives Kousuke, a genius pianist that lost his ability to play but slowly gained it back due to Kaori bringing in his ‘spring’. In the beginning we see Kaori as a carefree, happy go lucky girl who plays the violin on her own terms; which ends up gaining the audience's approval and not the judges. She tells Kousuke she’s in love with his friend and throughout the series we see the four entangled in a love square, while also dealing with life’s adversities. Kousuke and Kaori team up for Kousuke’s comeback in the competition world but we get a glimpse into the real reason Kaori is living life on the edge and where her true feelings lie.

The animation style makes Kirino’s hair one of the more crisp and clean styles there is on this list. Her color is like fire, just like her personality and it can always be seen down, except for the rare treat of a cute updo. Her hair must be oh-so-silky with that shine she has and she definitely provides an argument for blondes have more fun! On the outside, this series seems to blatantly be a incestuous story about a brother and his sister realizing their feelings for each other but it can go a few ways depending on how you interpret it. Either way, Kirino is one of our favorite tsundere blondes! She’s 14 and her relationship with her brother starts off really rocky. They have nothing in common and haven’t gotten along in years. One day her brother finds out about her secret love of brother sister romances and from that point on, start opening up to each other more. Kirino is a complex girl with a strong brother/sister fetish. She seems a bit cold hearted, but just can’t express her feelings well. She excels at almost everything she does, school, athletics, and even modeling which she uses to pay for her adult game obsession. She’s pretty bossy at times but eventually starts opening up, just like the wonderful tsundere she is. *SPOILER* They eventually confess their feelings to each other after expressing their dislike of each other having significant others.

Asuna is much more of a rose gold, with her hair reaching well past her waist. There’s no blonde jokes to be had here in this poised, proper lady who is quite the lady to be looked up to, despite her tsundere tendencies! Her hair is always down, with a little bit pulled back into braids and the traditional locks on the sides of her face. It’s a cute but simple hairstyle, really well suited to her and I’m sure Kirito doesn’t mind one bit! Asuna brings in a whole new level of grace and grace with swords. The first time we meet her in episode one, she’s a little timid but strong willed and the next time we see her she’s a high ranking officer in a large guild on the battlefront in the online virtual reality game, Sword Art Online. Trapped due to the game maker being a psychopath and trapping them all in the game in a battle of life or death, everyone’s true inner character comes out and Asuna really proves herself as a fighter. When Kirito meets her again, they both butt heads a little bit more and we see Asuna as an adorable, slightly-tsundere character that quickly turns to admitting her feelings and marrying Kirito (something we as anime fans rarely get to see). Even though Kirito is more in the spotlight, Asuna is just as important and powerful as a female lead, which is also something we don’t often get to see. The balance between the two is lovely, and although she takes a back burner in the latter half of the series and seasons, she never stops being Asuna.

Her hair is definitely full out anime yellow but with a special surprise of pink at the ends! Not very often do anime fans get the treat of blonde with colored ombre, so treasure her good! She can always been seen with her hair down and some pulled back with a big, bright red bow attached. She has the shorter version of hair on the side of her face, which actually is a very popular hair style in Japan. Chitoge, you’re so fashionable! Chitoge Kirisaki made a promise with a boy when she was younger and gave him her pendant. They promised that they’d get married when they reunited one day. That one day came when Chitoge transferred to the boy’s, Raku’s, class. However they got along terribly. Raku was the son of a Yakuza family and Chitoge is the daughter of the head of the Bee Hive Gangsters. Through a series of anime plot devices, they end up in a fake relationship with Raku’s heart wanting another girl in class. Chitoge is a hafu, half Japanese, half American who is fluent in both languages and has the aggressiveness of a typical American because she grew up there. She’s a good friend once everyone gets to know her and it’s known that she didn’t easily make friends growing up because she was a gangster’s daughter. Because of this, she made a notebook of classmate’s information to try and make friends with everyone. Claude is part of Bee Hive and is overprotective of Chitoge, resulting in her lack of friends.

Mugi’s hair is a much more soft, sandy blonde than others on this list but the change is much appreciated! Her eyebrows which spawned countless memes are another color all by themselves but suit her very well. Her hair is almost always just down and flowing perfectly, like most rich girls. The color and style suits her sweet personality and really adds to her moe level! We love Mugi, we love her eyebrows, and we love her gentle personality. She plays the Korg Triton Extreme 76-key keyboard in her school’s keion club (Light music club) which almost got disbanded due to its lack of members, however they were able to recruit Yui and kept it open. Together with Ritsu, Mio, and Yui, they take on the challenge of getting ready for their debut at the school festival. Mugi has been playing piano since age four so she’s talented, beautiful and sweet! She comes from a wealthy family so she finds enjoyment in life’s simplicities such as fast food and bargaining. She also breaks from her usual sweet personality to show a more rebellious side. She also has intense physical strength because she carries around all the instruments and amps like it’s no big deal as well as winning at arm wrestling. She also ships yuri by imagining things that aren’t actually happening, like the rest of us do!

Lucy wouldn’t be Lucy without her bright gold locks, fashioned into many different hairstyles over the seasons. Anime fans with different preferences worldwide get satisfaction with her regular outfit change and, sometimes, lack of outfits. Her hair can always be found up in a hairstyle, unless she’s just gotten out of the bath, and usually is some variation of ponytails and pigtails that are placed higher or lower. Her blonde is bright and peppy, just like her cheery personality and mixes well with Natsu’s salmon pink! Lucy may not be the only curvy blonde on this list but she’s certainly the most well known! Fairy Tail starts out with Lucy trying to get her way into the notorious guild, Fairy Tail. Along the way she meets a boy named Natsu and his flying, talking cat, Happy. After a whirlwind of events, she finds out Natsu is the well known Salamander fire mage, who tends to wreak havoc wherever he goes. They become instant friends and he brings her to fairy tail, where she meets many new people and friends with many adventures to be had. Fairy Tail is a long running series, with it’s newer season still continuing. But that’s okay because everyone loves our beloved Lucy! She’s more than just a hot bod, she’s loves her nakama (comrades) dearly and we all wait desperately for the day when the maker of the series, Hiro Mashima, will stop teasing the fans and just freaking make Natsu and Lucy canon already! Throughout the series, Lucy’s power level seemingly fluctuates. In the beginning she’s weak but has her episodes where suddenly she can pull out all of her celestial spirits at once (where no one ends up seeing) and later, during the Grand Magic Games, ends up losing to a lot of tricks and treachery. Long running Lucy fans wait for the waited explosion of her powers.

Sena wins rich girl with her shiny, platinum blonde hair. It looks absolutely perfect with her butterfly clip matching her blue eyes and she’s well aware of it, sporting confident posture and all. Again, rich girl’s tend to have their hair down and simple except for Maid Sena which is quite positively the cutest maid look ever. Sena plays a perfect blonde with the occasional blonde moment herself, and is adored for it. If you’ve ever had problems making friends, you might relate to Sena. In Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, the main characters find themselves, in some way, unable to make friends and they come together to form the Neighbor’s Club. In this club, they try to learn how to make friends and maintain friendships through various activities whilst being friends themselves, whether they admit it or not. Specifically Sena, nicknamed Niku (Meat), has a hard time acting normal around people. Even though she pretends otherwise, she likes the nickname Niku because it’s her first nicknames she’s gotten ever. Sena’s extravagant and prestigious looks should get your attention right away but if not, maybe her tsundere side will. She beautiful and she’s arrogant, but she really just wants to make friends underneath it all. She loves dating sims and eroge because it allows her to actually make female friends. Aww, we’ll be your friend, Sena!

Saber is light sandy blonde that can always be seen sporting the same hairstyle; a perfect bun with a braid wrapped around it and a cute blue ribbon to top it off. She’s got bangs with the popular longer side bang look and everything including her outfit gives a very modest, older look that exudes grace. Which makes sense, considering who she is and where she’s from! Even though Fate/Stay Night dates back a few years and even without the recent remake, Saber has always been at the top of everyone’s favorite blondes list. She’s as badass as they come, can kill just about anything, is a king and is in enough suggestive visual novels to keep the fans thirsts quenched. Saber’s basically the ideal woman; she’s beautiful, has insane power, with a cute, incredible appetite that we seem to love in our anime women. She can go from vanquishing any foe to being completely innocent and oblivious, as she is not from this time. In Fate/Stay Night, Saber is Shirou Emiya’s servant spirit warrior for the Holy Grail War with the prize being unimaginable power. However, it’s a dangerous war where death and battles are imminent. There are seven other teams that he will have to defeat with some consisting of sinister, sneaky fighters that will do anything it takes to win.

Ever saw a long pole, or even a stick lying by the road and you imagine it to be the coolest sword like… Excalibur? Then you start swinging it around making slashing noises. Well, in this scene the boys are doing just that! They saw a stick on the road and imagined it to be a sword while acting out an imaginary scene. Tadakuni of course (spoilsport…) laments the idea of it as they are on the street but eventually joins in adding more to the comedy. Nothing gets to me better than this scene. Game and an anime lovers can relate to this scene. When you hang out with close buddies who also happens to be gamer and anime lovers, anything and everything is your world. You can even make a stick become a sword and start a fight . You can be in a busy street and still break out into goofy antics while the stares of everyone are ignored as you indulge in your make-believe world. To other anime lovers, you're just weeaboos. LOL, But that is what makes it all the more fun…

The Literature girl first appears in episode 1 under the setting of the typical boy-who-meets-a-girl-by-the-river. However, instead of talking like normal human beings, both of them happen to have the same thought of delivering cool sophisticated quotes and lines. I mean come on! Their opening conversation is something like this: “The wind… is troubled today. Indeed… however, it weeps too”. Whatever happened to the golden age of hi and byes? In the end however, it turns out that the literature girl simply wanted to fulfil her fantasy of her romantic scenario and Hidenori was the chosen person. The thing is that the protagonist in her story is this lonely otaku which adds to the humour but much to the dismay of Hidenori. The literature girl spawned its fair share of jokes and memes. That's how much the literature girl scenes holds in the anime. Literature girl is often shown in a windy, open grass field with Hidenori. Both would usually come up with cheesy lines while standing in a composed and straight face. Looks are deceiving after all and what made these scenes special and funny are his soliloquy which is totally different from what he is actually saying. Both are usually caught in numerous situations in the anime and it's never boring to see these two talking... with themselves…

Dubbed as “High school Girls Are Funky”, this short segment is usually featured at the end of the main show. It starts from Episode 3 and is featured in future episodes. It shows the girls doing the same everyday mundane activities such as complaining about how the boys managed to get a whole series to themselves while the girls are not mentioned, talking behind the boys' backs as well as discussing their favourite food – sweets. Basically, instead of Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou, it’s Joshikosei no Nichijou (Daily Lives of High school Girls). Whatever nonsensical gimmicks the boys tries to pull off in the anime; you can expect the same for this segment. It's a shame that this segment is usually a 2-5 min. short at the end of the main show as there needs to be more female exposure in the series! So I would like to make a declaration: Who's with me on the idea of a new season for this series??? Daily Lives of High school Girls (Funky Girls). Of course, we're also hoping for a second season for the original DKNN.

It is the day for the boys to hand up their career day questionnaires up to the teacher. Sensei however was sharp and she knows that the boys were up to no good; therefore she decided to check the answers on the spot in front of the whole class. The amount of nonsensical answers given was gold. In the future I would like to be: (Not a Lawyer) (Teacher’s Lover) (A ghost). Just as the teacher was getting exasperated, the final answer delivered the best punch line. Questionnaire Answer: Enter College Teacher: MAKE A JOKE!!! Remember that one time which the whole class got together to troll the teacher just because it's so boring... or maybe your teacher is an awesome person? There's something about the whole class trolling a teacher that makes it all the more fun. It gets funnier when she is expecting a serious thought out answer to a life question. What do you want to be in the future? “I do not want to be a lawyer”. Such retort. Much funny. So sugoi. I wish there were more people like the person who wrote that.

Here we find the boys playing a game of ping pong after their bath. The only rule to this specific match is that they may only hit the call after giving the correct answer to a given topic. The topics are chosen amongst themselves and what they chose are honestly… quite good to sabotage someone with. First up we have the moons of Uranus. Tadukuni lost. Next we have the names of foreign presidents. Tadakuni lost. Tadakuni is one point away from losing but he has a trump card. It's his turn to choose the topic. He reveals his specialty and ultimatum and puts his all into this. He chose countries that have a moon on their flag. He lost. As expected of the airhead of the group. So you can only hit a ball only if you answer the question correctly. Easy enough. Except amongst friends, no one sets easy questions. Names of foreign president! Moons of Uranus? These are too specific for a match to even last more than 2 strikes. I didn't even know that Uranus had more than 1 moon! Kudos to Tadakuni for retaliating with an equally challenging question only to know one answer... Yeah... Well played. He can compete with Akahisa from Baka To Test for the Baka title.

This is the first ever scene from DKNN. It shows the main character Tadakuni on his way to school as he is running late while eating a piece of bread for breakfast. He is joined by his two friends with one eating a bowl of ramen and another eating a plate of curry rice. Very unconventional… but hilarious when in that situation. I especially love the fact that both Hidenori and Yoshitake are doing it with a normal attitude as though as they are accustomed to it all along. Points to them for feigning ignorance! I believe that it was the first ever scene that made DKNN a favourite comedy show amongst fans. Already, it started off by presenting a stereotype of anime characters straight off the bat with a twist. When you're late for school, you have bread for breakfast... unless you're like these two who had ramen and curry while running to school. More often or not, the first few scene of an anime are the most important ones, as they determine whether potential viewers will stay on or drop it, depending on their satisfaction with the first few minutes. DKNN did well in bringing in viewers with slapstick comedy based on clichés. Also, since we are on the topic of food...

While hanging out, one of their friends dropped a sausage as the various characters try their bests to save it from falling to the ground. It starts with Yoshitake almost seemingly catching it only to have the stick poke his hands as he launches it up into the air again as he winces in pain. As Hidenori tries to save the day, he ends up in the same predicament as Yoshitake. One of their unnamed friends dived down and launches it up again - into a girl's face which rebounded into the back of some passerby shirt that caught it and threw it straight into Tadakuni's stomach. As the sausage finally fell to the ground, the guy who dropped it in the first place picked it up nonchalantly and continued to eat it. Did you see how long that description was? All this in the name of food. The measures that one take to protect food in anime. Anyone here remembers what Nichijou is well known for? (for those that watched it). The same way Yuuko prevents her octopus shaped wiener from falling to the floor, DKNN portrays the same scene with a hotdog and the efforts the protagonists take to save it. The moral of the story, everything is extreme and dramatic in anime, even when it comes to dropping food. Also, the three-second rule do not apply here apparently.

The boys called in one of their classmates to help them solve their Internet connection problem. What she doesn’t know is that this is an elaborate plan setup by the boys in order for them to look at her panties. Whilst directing her to the modem which is conveniently placed on top of a cupboard, they managed to steal a peek. The mission was a success, so they ought to be happy right? Wrong! They regretted it as they did something which cannot be undone. They had to resort to deceiving a girl just to see her panties. Rather, to quote, "You don't deceive a STUPID girl to see her panties" This scene reminds us that no matter where it is in the world, boys will be boys. Calculative, Deceptive, Shrewd when it comes to panties. The answer is pantsu - the solution to every problem because we believe in the power of pantsu. Other than that... doing stupid stuff like putting on skirts maybe...(discussed further later). Yeah... The anime is called Daily Lives of High school Boys for a reason.

Hidenori apparently loses his glasses (even though they are on his head) Tadakuni notices it however and is wondering why is everybody feigning ignorance. Eventually, he theorizes that everybody is playing along for the purpose of a practical joke. In the end however, everybody was really oblivious to the fact that the glasses were indeed on Hidenori’s head after all. As a bespectacled person, finding your glasses is always a hassle as they could be ANYWHERE if you have a short term memory. It gets more annoying when your friends decide to prank you for a whole 30 mins and make you search high and low for them. Having that experience, I thought I knew what was coming when I saw this scene but NOOOO…Some humans in the world, are really just oblivious. My heartfelt sorrow to the guy who noticed it... he didn't even get a chance to throw the punch line...

The final and funniest scene on the countdown! This scene is the iconic DKNN moment. It shows the boys deciding to try on female clothes with all three of them proceeding to different rooms to try on the garments . As they emerged, the truth was revealed. Only Tadakuni was in a skirt as the other two burst out laughing. Things escalated quickly because they commented that Tadakuni actually looked good in a skirt and they had him do poses in the outfit. It would be okay and all... only if the sister hadn’t walked in at the material time. This is a scenario where both situation and context is hard to explain... I will admit it, I am still a bit scarred from this scene... but then again, it's so hilarious you have a hard time deciding whether to close it or to continue. This scene introduces the comedy style of DKNN.. Throughout the scene you're just going "Don't do it bro!!! You just had to... didn't you?!" This scene also actually made me question who the real females in the anime are as he actually did a good job by being effeminate. Have you ever felt your pride as a man shrink so deep into a hole until you wince in pain while laughing at the same time?

The stubborn, ferocious Kyoko made a bang when she was introduced to the series, engaging the newly-transformed Sayaka in a life-or-death duel, coming close to killing the new magical girl. Though she opens up eventually as the series progresses, she remains the most vocal and Machiavellian of all the magical girls in the anime. With a personality as hot as the crimson hair on her head, Kyoko is one red-haired girl that one must never cross!

Lina is yet another fiery redhead from the classic Slayers franchise. A powerful sorceress with a pretty volatile personality, she actually garnered a reputation for being an evil magician who does not hesitate to use powerful spells to harm people.
