Iki Hiyori found herself staring at her own unconscious body after being in an accident. In the hospital, she meets a young man claiming to be a delivery God and he explains to her that her soul has slipped out of her body. Wanting to get back to her body, she pleads to the God to change her back to normal again. The God will only heed her wishes if she makes a wish to him for 5 yen. Thus starts the unpredictable life of Hiyori in the world of Gods, spirits, and demons. Noragami is definitely a must watch when you are looking for something very similar to Soul Eater. The very obvious resemblance between these two is how some characters in both shows are able to transform into their weapon forms and are wielded by strong fighters. In Noragami, souls that are left untainted after their death due to accidents or being murdered can be claimed by any God by giving them a new name. They are called Regalias who can transform into different items that help the God in times of need. Gods and Regalias have the same relationship between Meister and Demon Weapon. They must work together as one team in order to be more powerful when fighting deadly creatures that lurk at every corner. Both shows are done by studio Bones so expect the high-quality visuals and soundtracks that Noragami will offer.

D. Gray-man has the same big cast like Soul Eater has. It centers around friendships, teamwork, and camaraderie. D. Gray-man is good when it comes to character progression just like how it is with Soul Eater. The sequel, D.Gray-man Hollow, is currently airing so go ahead and watch it! The story revolves around the adventures of Allen Walker as he becomes an exorcist to stop the Millennium Earl in his plans and to gather innocence during his missions. D. Gray-man and Soul Eater have the same overall concept when it comes to world building. Another one that was produced by studio Bones, D. Gray-man features exorcists fighting against Akuma to make the world safe, just like what Soul Eater primarily does. If Soul Eater has Death Weapon Meister Academy, which is run by Shinigami, D. Gray-man, on the other hand, has the Black order that is run by the Vatican. Both are organizations that are intent on maintaining order in their respective world. Also, just like how demon weapons in Soul Eater are important, one big factor in D. Gray-man is their weapon called innocence. Innocence is not humans per se, but these are shards that can bond with chosen humans for them to be used as a purifying weapon. Compatibility between a human and an innocence is highly important, just like in Soul Eater where Meister and Demon weapon must have the same wavelength. In Soul Eater, If wavelengths between Meister and Demon weapon are low, it can result in the death of one of the two parties, but if it is high, it can manifest a far greater power. While in D. Gray-man, If synchronization rate is too low, then humans can turn into monsters called the fallen ones, but if it is higher, the innocence will exceed more of its potential.

Staz Charlie Blood is supposed to be your average Otaku who likes to collect games, manga, and anime related things, but he is not, as he is a noble vampire that governs one of the territories of the demon world. Meanwhile, we have Fuyumi Yanagi who enters a portal towards the demon world that opened in her bedroom. There, the two meet and Staz immediately takes a liking to the girl until a monster kills Fuyumi turning her into a ghost. Staz, therefore, goes on a quest in search of how to revive Fuyumi. Essentially, Blood Lad and Soul Eater deviate when it comes to the plot, but if you are looking for the same vibes you had with Soul Eater, then take this and watch it when you have the time. The Gothic feel around this anime blends well with its action-packed scenes and its comic relief scenes. It is also full of quirky characters like Soul Eater. Soul Eater and Blood Lad are rich with supernatural concepts that will keep you entertained all the way.

Legend has it, that five-hundred years ago, there was a lord that unknowingly kept luring supernatural beings towards him. He was then protected by Tokimori Hazama until his death. Despite this, his power stayed on the land. So Tokimori created the Hazama clan to protect the sacred land called Karasumori. Fast forward to present day, Yoshimori Sumimura and Tokine Yukimura are the current heirs of the Hazama clan. Together they fight for the safety of Karasumori while learning little by little the truth behind the sacred land’s secret. Kekkaishi is another show about killing demons. Just like in Soul Eater where Meisters and Demon Weapons take missions to destroy Kishin and maintain order, Kekkaishi are demon exterminators that protect the Karasumori or also known as the sacred land. Both showcase splendid action scenes and occasional comedy in them. It’s a good old fun watch, so why not give it a try?

From the same creator behind the classic legend, Rurouni Kenshin, comes another great piece that is Busou Renkin. One Night, our dark brown haired hero Muto Kazuki was killed after saving a girl from a monster. The girl, Tsumamura Tokiko, felt responsible for his death. She then replaced his heart into a Kagugane which in the process made him able to materialize a weapon called Busou Renkin. With his new life, Kazuki embarks on a journey as he joins the Alchemist army to stop the monsters that haunt the people. Busou Renkin and Soul Eater present us with a “your best weapon is yourself” aspect. Humans who have acquired a device named Kagugane are able to create weapons called Busou Renkin based on the user’s personality. Just like how DWMA focuses on stopping Kishin and making strong death scythes, there is an organization called Alchemist Army that focuses on killing homunculi and create the Philosopher’s stone. If you want something like Soul Eater, then you can’t go wrong with this.

For our next recommendation, we have chosen Servamp. Servamp is made by the mangaka Strike Tanaka which was adapted into an anime by Studio Brain’s Brain and Platinum Vision. Shirota Mahiro likes everything that is simple. After his classes are done, he decides to go to town and along the way saw a cat lying helplessly on the ground. Of course, the simplest thing to do is to pick it up so he did. What he doesn’t realize is that the cat he calls Kuro is nothing ordinary. To make matters worse Mahiru accidentally made a contract with Kuro, proclaiming that he is the vampire “sleepy ash”. Now stuck in a contract, Mahiru is pulled into the world of Eves and Servamps. Servamp’s main concept is the relationship between an Eve and a Servamp. Same as Meister and Demon weapons, Eves are humans who have control over vampires called Servamps (Servant Vampire) in exchange for giving them blood. Eves can also acquire a special weapon called Lead with the help of their Servamps. Having a Servamp means having great power, so a person who is indecisive and unsure about his path can be deadly to the Eve as they can be overwhelmed by the Servamp and kill them. Just as when Meisters and Demon weapons are not on the same wavelength. It’s airing right now so why not give it a shot!?

Yes they are more of a running gag than anything else. Worse, they are a running gag that lost any appeal after the second season. Some people might have been able to stomach them for a season or two more, but soon enough everyone gets tired of seeing Team Rocket blasting off. Nonetheless, let’s fly back to their glory days, within the first few episodes, where wanted posters of the mysterious team rocket plastered the town, and they seemed like a legitimate threat. Well, that was about it for the glory days of this Team Rocket pair. Despite their threat level dying down rather quickly as they failed to capture Pikachu time after time, Jesse and James are the iconic face of Team Rocket and general villainy in the Pokémon world.

Though he’s not the arch villain in Pokémon Colosseum, he very easily became a fan favorite of this spin-off game. If you’re asking how that came about, then you must not have played the game. Miror. B successfully danced his way into players’ hearts with his flashy style and incredible dance moves. The guy does, after all, rock a red and white afro that’s definitely pokeball inspired. Furthermore, in spite of the obvious responsibilities that come along with being an Admin. of Team Cipher, he is clearly more obsessed with teaching his team of primarily Ludicolo how to dance. In all honesty, he’s not much of a threat. Even when he ditches Team Cipher to start his own crew, he isn’t too hard to take down nor really villainous. Nonetheless, he is extremely memorable and definitely one of the most entertaining villains to come out of any of the games.

It’s somewhat hard to declare N as a villain. He’s sort of like a fallen angel type character. He’s rebelling against the status quo, attacking the current system, and yet it’s almost impossible to hate the kid. The world he’s fighting for is something most players can see as an almost better world, a kinder world for Pokémon. His whole goal, if for some reason you didn’t play Black and White (which by the way has probably the best storyline in Pokémon), is to create a world where Pokémon aren’t caught and forced into servitude and battle. He believes in befriending them and asking for their assistance and then letting them go about with their Pokelives. In fact, every time we face him he has a new set because he actually follows through with his ideals. Plus, by the end, we find out that he’s been manipulated from a very young age by a man named Ghetsis, who could not care less about the actual mission of Team Plasma. Nonetheless, Ghetsis doesn’t really show his true face until the end, so it’s N who we are face-to-face with constantly, as it’s him acting as the king of Team Plasma.

Though we don’t get too much of Lance in the show or the video games, he does have quite the role in the manga Pokémon Adventures. Still acting as the leader of the Elite Four and rocking a team of dragons - Dragonite, Dragonaire, Gyarados, Aerodactyl (okay so not all of them are dragons) – his goal is to wreck everyone. He wants to destroy humankind, and he, quite frankly, has the power to do so. The only reason why he isn’t higher up on this list is that his desire to kill people comes from a rather noble desire. As a child, he witnessed a traumatic disaster that had left several Pokémon dead, and now does everything he can in order to protect them. Over time though, he does begin to help the protagonists of Pokémon Adventures.

Okay, so you might notice that Maxie’s not on this list. Well one, he’s practically the same character and it didn’t feel worthwhile to have a repeat. Two, Archie wants to cover the world in water, which is way more terrifying than a world covered by land. Admittedly, we need water to survive, but imagine a world with only water and water Pokémon of the sea. That’s just terrifying. Tentacruels as far as the eye can see, Gyarados jumping out at you, Seakings stabbing you in the leg. It’s not a particularly pretty picture. Third, the guy simply has way more style and appeal. The only reason why he isn’t higher up on this list is because he honestly thinks that his mission will better the world for both humans and Pokémon. In fact, when he realizes otherwise, he has a slight existential crisis and can’t even come to terms with the destruction he’s set in motion. However, ignorance isn’t necessarily a redeeming quality.

Nobunaga is the main antagonist in the spin-off video game Pokémon Conquest. Outside of getting points for simply looking like such a badass, Nobunaga is extremely powerful and hard to take down. Before we can even talk about fighting the guy, you got to consider that he has set a good majority of the continent against you. Just getting to the point where you can actually take him on, is a complete pain. Then when you’re actually face-to-face with him, you realize he’s on a whole other level than anyone else you’ve fought. His Hydregion is a massive threat and extremely difficult to take down. However, at the very end, you realize he was a badass with a heart of gold. His whole reason for going on such an ambitious conquest was to prove that a god-like Pokémon did not exist or if it did to destroy it so that the rest of the factions would stop fighting.

You do not want to get in the way of Hunter J. She is strong, she is intelligent, and she is ruthless. Essentially the equivalent of a bounty hunter in the Pokémon universe, Hunter J has the coolest gadgets. Outside of having a massive airship as her base, she also has lasers, a cloaking device, and a high-tech visor to follow Pokémon that got away using teleport. She also has one more similarity with most bounty hunters in popular media. On a general basis she tends to engage in her business of stealing Pokémon and selling them on the black market with a certain detachment. That is to say, she views everything as a business transaction and doesn’t let her emotions get in the way of a job. However, this level of cold-heartedness extends deep into her psyche as she barely even cares for the well-being of her own henchman. The final touch of terror to this villain comes in the form of her monstrous Salamence, which can own most of Ash’s Pokémon.

Giovanni was the original crime boss of the Pokémon world, and still remains as one of the most iconic characters in the series. His appearance alone screamed mafia, but more importantly so did his actions. As the leader of Team Rocket, he influenced activities that ranged from black market gambling to cloning Mew. One of the more interesting aspects of his character is that he wasn’t necessarily interested in ruling the world. His dream was one focused on money and just doing whatever he could with money. He didn’t desire anyone to die or get hurt per say, but he did perform a lot of rather rough and coercive actions in order to go about doing whatever he please. Also, he has one of the most fitting Pokémon teams for his personality. He’s rooted, grounded per say, and believes himself to be the king of his own life. Thus, Nidoking and Nidoqueen are perfect for him.

Possibly one of the most intense villains in the Pokémon universe, Mewtwo earned this high rank due to his ingenious schemes during Pokémon: The First Movie. Let’s face it, Mewtwo is the ultimate revolutionary in the Pokémon world. He questions just about everything and decides that the way things are just isn’t good enough. Nope, he needs to clone all the Pokémon and then wipe the world out in a flood in order to set up a utopia. Talk about a god complex. However, that alone wouldn’t earn him the number two spot. Nope. What propels him so far forward are the little details deposited throughout that first movie that would make just about any Pokémon trainer cry. How nonchalantly he flung Pokémon aside with a flick of his wrist was just overpowered.. Also, if you weren’t on the edge of your seat when he’s capturing everyone’s Pokémon to make clones, then you really have no heart.

This, my friends, is the face of heartlessness. Ghetsis is the most manipulative villain in Pokémon. It’s one thing to want to rule the planet and have yourself as the acting god. In anime, such characters tend to be quite intriguing for the most part. This selfish villain though takes it to the next level. So on top of wanting to be the only trainer in the world who actually has Pokémon under his command, he has corrupted an innocent youth into being his right hand man. No, worse than his right hand man. He basically manipulated and controlled N in order to keep himself at a safe distance from the actual fighting while still reaping all the rewards. Not really helping this man’s case is the fact that he took N in as an orphan and still decided to use him as a pawn. Talk about neglecting any type of parental attachment. In the end, the guy just doesn’t have any redeeming qualities.

One fine day, the character designers of Pokemon decided to take the ABC and transform it into a Pokemon. So, they added one eye and some appendices to the letters. And presto! Here we have the Unown, who, if they are together, can get enough power to alter the perception of reality. So now even old languages are going to become Pokemon? Unknown is known as the most “non evolving” Pokemon ever made. The great irony is that languages and writing systems are always evolving. This is an example of an interesting design concept that went right down to the weird lane. It is what happens when you want to create many Pokemon at the same time with the minimum effort u.uU

Yes, we understand that the first Pokemon generation was limited to a pixelated world. But you have to admit that an ameba is not precisely the most creative design ever, right? Besides that, Ditto is a normal type Pokemon. He only can do two things: breed with other Pokemon, and an attack called Transform. Ditto’s abilities might look useful at first, as he can copy the appearance of other Pokemon… but if he is paired in battle with another Ditto, they will be stocked copying each other forever. That is why trainers never use Ditto in battle. The poor guy has a nice personality, but at least its creators could have given him a slightly more complicated appearance. Ditto is simply too plain.

Meet one of the newest Pokemon! Bruxish is part of the Sun/Moon gang. We know that this Pokemon arch is based on the tropical zones of the world, but… Did we really need such a color palette? Instead of looking warmly exotic, Bruxish looks like a berry ice-cream wannabe. Maybe the creators wanted it to look feminine, but isn’t the addition of eyelashes and that prominent mouth just a little bit too much? We cannot talk about its battle moves because they have not been revealed, but all in all, Bruxish gives us the impression of having been approved too quickly from the first drafts on the drawing board.

Ok Pokemon designers, we get it. Sometimes you run out of ideas or want to be more creative by adding critters based on objects. But two gears? With one round eye and an x shaped eye? And look at those permanently open mouths. In a generation that gave us cuties like Snivy, Tepig and Munna, who is gonna sympathize with two gears? And don’t start us on Klink’s evolutions. Just add one more gear, and you get… Klang. Add yet another thin gear and you get Klinklang (facepalm). Even their names can be subject to ridicule. Maybe the creators tried to compensate their looks with some pretty solid battle abilities, but that does not take out the fact that Klink and its evolutions are lazy designs.

Apparently, even garbage can become a Pokemon in the Pokemon world. Trubbish is a bag where chemical reactions are always taking place. And what happens when it evolves? The bag breaks and it becomes Garbodor, a bigger pile of garbage. This design is not only bad and messy, but it also has conceptual problems. See, not all garbage has to be poisonous or damaging. Some of it can be recycled to become new products and other can be used to fertilize plants. As a poison Pokemon, the only thing we can get out from Trubbish and company is that being garbage is wrong. Who is going to take out this smelly and dangerous guy out of the Pokeball? He is not even nice to watch. Again, this is what happens when you get out a character too early out from the drawing boards.

At this stage, we can notice the Fifth generation gave us some of the worst Pokemon designs ever. Anyway, let’s continue with Vanillite. Here we have an ice cream cone with a face. That’s it. Besides being uncreative, the face is not even pleasant enough. And just wait until Vanillite evolves to Vanillish and Vaniluxe. Its face becomes even weirder and its character worsens. Maybe if the creators combined the concept of an ice-cream with a plant, animal or insect, something cute and powerful would have emerged. But nah, the design was left to be lazy.

We understand that some Pokemon just try to be funny. Nevertheless, sulky Pokemon should be better thought than this specimen. Binacle is composed of two bad tempered hands who live in a rock. The thing is that, when they get too angry, one of them moves to another rock. So, is this one or many Pokemon? Binacle is not only confusing, it is also visually unappealing. Although he becomes more integrated in his evolution (Barbaracle), it is easily forgettable compared to other better designed fighting Pokemon. So sorry, Binacle. You are not necessary in our Poke hearts.

There is a Pokemon in the Seventh generation that is called Sunabaa. Basically, it is a ghost made of sand. Ok, maybe the concept is not that lazy, we can pass it. But when it “evolves”, it becomes Shirodesuna. Just look at this sand castle with a shovel on its head. What is powerful or scary about it? And look at those heart decorations. Let me repeat that: the freaking ghost Pokemon has colorful heart decorations! We can just wonder exactly how Shirodesuna attacks or defends, but we are not expecting much of it. It is condemned to not be taken seriously since his design is just… well… something we would play with in our summer vacations.

These two are paired because they look so similar they could be confused. Yes, we understand some Pokemon are similar to insects that go through metamorphosis. There are two ways you can deal with their designs: either make their transformation motionless (like in real life), or make an interesting intermediate stage like Metapod. But these two guys? They are basically cocoons with spikes and eyes, with some weird lines indicating their silk threads. There is not even care shown in their overall appearance. Maybe the creators noticed that Silcoon and Cascoon were not precisely their most popular Pokemons, so they have made them completely round in the recent versions of the game. Unfortunately, the weird lines and eyes are still there, so the lack of spikes adds to the confusion of who is who. So, nope. their designs are too lazy.

And the ultimate lazy Pokemon design prize goes to… the cheesiest critter ever! We can only imagine it is a hard day’s night in the design department and you have to finish the proposal for the one hundred something new Pokemons. Just one more and you will be off. So, anything goes. How about this heart with a mouth, eyes and cheeks? It is supposed to be a fish, but come on! Magikarp might be useless, but at least looks like a complete fish. Besides that, Luvdisc does not even evolve or attack. It simply lives together with other Luvdiscs. On looks and abilities, this fish is the laziest Pokemon ever.

When Yukagure slowly changed into a tourist destination rather than a Shinobi village, Hidan went out and killed his neighbours, became a cultist, and even joined the criminal organisation, Akatsuki. Influenced by the cultish teachings of the religion of Jashin, Hidan’s already sadistic tendencies were given the means to grow and he became a fully-fledged murderer with no regard for the people he killed. Long story short, Hidan was insane. Hidan’s sadism, blatant disregard for courtesy of any kind towards anyone already make him someone most shinobi would want to avoid, and due to the requirements of his curse ritual, he’d inflict pain and injuries on himself, sharing the pain with his victim, enjoying it. He displays this strange ritual when fighting Asuma, explaining to an incapacitated Asuma that the best part of the fight is “experiencing the pain” of his opponents and taking that pain into his own body. The thought of this causes him to laugh hysterically, highlighting his sadism as he laughs at the premise of torturing his opponents, but at the same time, highlighting his severe masochism as he laughs at the premise of experiencing the same pain as his opponents. 

How do you go about telling your crush that you are a strangely resilient, pain-loving pervert? You don’t. Instead, you do what Sadou Tarou did and enlist the help of the Volunteer Club’s highly skilled, highly-rated problem solvers to help you. Unfortunately (or is it?) for you and for Tarou, members of the club don’t pull any punches when administering their anti-masochism treatment! After being slapped by a female classmate in middle school, Taro Sado experienced a strange feeling of bliss brought about by the pain, openly requesting for more abuse, to the disgust and dismay of his classmates. Now in high school, Tarou wishes to be cured of his hardcore masochism, but the road to recovery is difficult and painful… just how he likes it. Every time he is punched, kicked or berated it transports him to a world of bliss. How could Tarou not get turned on when suffering at the hands of a beautiful girl?

If humans could experience each other’s physical pain in the exact same way, what would become of interpersonal relationships? That is the question the Kizuna Project seeks to answer through the connection of seven teenagers who share the same sense of pain: that is, should one experience physical pain of any degree, the others do as well. These seven individuals are known as the Kiznaivers. For the protagonist, Katsuhira Agata, being a Kiznaiver isn’t an earth-shattering problem, since he is incapable of experiencing pain, nor is it a problem for the seventh Kiznaiver, Hisomu Yoshiharu, due to “personal” reasons. What kind of reason would anyone have to not feel flustered upon hearing that they share pain with other people? Hisomu’s reason is straight-forward - he enjoys the pain. Unfortunately for the other Kiznaivers, there is a masochist among their ranks, a person who derives pleasure from some of the most sobering of physical pain and agony. With every injury, he lets out squeals of delight, and, should the pain be intense enough, Hisomu loses himself, or “blisses out”. This is made apparent when, in order to apprehend Hisomu, Katsuhira jumps off a bridge into moving traffic. The result: a concussed Katsuhira and a very, very happy Hisomu. Imagine having to share ouchies with someone who finds happiness in their own pain, it definitely takes the feelings of contempt people have for group projects to a whole new level!

One of the creepier characters on this list, Shirosaki is Usa Kazunari’s perverted roommate who is turned on by literally anything. Despite his somewhat shocking perversion and heavy masochism, Shirosaki wouldn’t hurt a fly (he’d greatly appreciate it if it hurt him) and he has made a strict rule to only show interest in women 18 and up, keeping a good portion of the public fortunately unaware of the Kawai Complex’s pervert. Apart from the perversion and masochism, Shirosaki is a pretty normal guy. Being the masochist that he is, Shirosaki found himself a steady supply of… punishment from Nishikino Mayumi, a woman who suffers heavy mood swings and revels in bullying both Shirosaki and Usa – a mutually beneficial relationship in which she can get rid of stress in various violent ways and Shirosaki can get his, um, fix.

In a world where humanity has a natural predator in the form of the Ghouls, humanity has lost its place at the top of the food chain. Like in all food chains, each factor has a role to play and various organisms have varying relationships. That, class, brings us to our next masochist, member of the Aogiri Tree and Jason’s right-hand punching bag (read “man”), Nico. Nico’s past, ambitions and other personal details are all a mystery, but coupled together with his seemingly flamboyant personality is a perversion nothing short of disturbing. It takes a special kind of masochist to be able to take what Jason dishes out and Nico does it well, once gleefully being stabbed in the gut by Jason’s kagune and telling him with a bloody smile that he “should wait until they got home”. Another mutually-beneficial relationship.

Everyone has their quirks. Even people in positions of leadership like the Student Council at school have various traits, whether common or uncommon which they either keep under wraps for the sake of appearances, or they wear them on their sleeves. Literally. Ira Gamagoori is a prime example of a blatant masochist, literally parading his masochism in the uniform he wears. Gamagoori’s Goku Uniform is a three-star uniform which in battle, changes into the seemingly uncomfortable, BDSM-influenced Shackle Regalia. In battle, Gamagoori is often heard saying things like “Punish me more”. The nature of Gamagoori’s Shackle Regalia allows him to endure his opponents’ attacks and store them as power for the possibility of unleashing the Scourge Regalia, a powerful explosive attack powered by the damage experienced by the Shackle Regalia. If you are a masochist, Gamagoori is an inspirational figure: you too can become a great leader. If you don’t, he will punish you.

In a show filled with some of the most eccentric characters, some would feel that it would just not be complete without the type of pervert everyone seems to hate: the masochist. Takanashi Souta’s eldest sister, Kazue, sure knew how to pick ‘em when she married the series’ only masochist, Minegishi Tooru. All credit; however, goes to Minegishi for marrying someone who is able to offer the various forms of abuse a masochist needs to survive. Minegishi knows how to push his wife turned ex-wife turned wife’s buttons and it’s as a result of this knowledge that their first marriage ended. Minegishi is the perfect example of a masochist who found happiness and is the inspiration of masochists everywhere. Salute!

What happens to us when we die? That question has tugged at the minds of generations of people and is still without a definite answer. For this dog-spirit; however, the afterlife has been spent haunting Ichimatsu Kohina. Inugami haunts Kohina because he harbours memories of being picked up by her when he was still a living dog. Little did Kohina know that the dog she picked up would become an obsessive, perverted little dog-spirit with a taste for punishment. Inugami is a masochist capable of gender-bending and despite his apparent obsession with Kohina, the thought of having her hate or punish him excites him. The contrast between the normal need for affection characteristic of a dog and his masochism makes him quite the interesting pain-lover. Who’s a good dog? Clearly not this guy.

When Binbouda Momiji says “jump”, he says “how high”. Enlisted by Momiji to help her steal Sakura Ichiko’s good fortune, Inugami Momoo is a dog god with the ability to shapeshift from dog to human, which often happens when he experiences extreme pleasure, innocent or otherwise. Staying true to the trend of dog spirits being the worst of masochists, Inugami Momoo revels in the pain and abuse inflicted upon him by Momiji, as a result, he lingers on her every word, following her the way a dog follows its master. Upon finding out first hand that Ichiko herself is quite vicious and vindictive, he begins to heckle her for attention, hoping that he’ll receive beatings from her too.

Being one of only five males in the entire student body of a formerly all girls school is a daunting statistic. After being caught peeping on the girls, Andre and his friends were all sentenced to the prison within their very own Hachimitsu Private Academy, run by the Underground Student Council. Under the iron fist of the Vice-President of the USC, Andre’s masochism was given a place to flourish. Andre’s masochism is to the extreme, extreme to the point where he becomes a husk: losing ample amounts of weight in addition to literally drying up when he doesn’t receive some sort of punishment for an extended period of time. He revels in all forms of abuse and dehumanisation, often asking the USC members to beat him, spit on him and even make him lick their boots. Andre is fuelled by abuse and as a result, the USC have found a way of punishing him that he does not enjoy: they don’t punish him at all, a fact which breaks him mentally.
